this is my first festival (leeds) and i've heard many stories about the toilets and how disgusting they are, and how it's advised not to use them.

so in the nicest way possible, where are you supposed to go for a shit, because i'll be eating all types of shit food and stuff of the stalls, just wondering if there are any pubs that have toilets that they let people use, or are the toilets not really that bad.

don't even take the piss (no pun intended)

it's a general question.

If you need to go, you'll just go, no matter how grim they are. Just don't breathe through your nose or look down, ever! Also, be careful of anything in your pockets, we don't want another poo girl incident do we?

Also, use the portaloo's in the arena while you can, much cleaner and you can't hear other people have shits lol

I've never had a problem, the long drops in the campsite are fine as long as you don't look down (or don't drop anything down:lol: ). At least the smell drifts away. Like others are saying, man up. If you can't put up with a minging toilet then perhaps festivals aren't the place for you.

I find the long drops OK also. They smell a little but not ridiculously disgusting. By the Sunday though some of the Porta-loos are disgusting and full to the brim with excrament, I mean coming through the hole. The longdrops are heaven compared to sunday night porta-loos.
