Leeds Stage Timings

Just for the record, I posted this here because it would be interesting to get the view of Reading fans.

I know it probably has something to do with licensing but it's always confused me as to why Leeds' times run half an hour earlier than Reading because for me, it spoils some bands, particularly the sub-headliners. Take Prodigy last year for example, at Leeds, we only had the last 2 or 3 songs of their set when it was really dark enough for the lighting show to take a proper effect. If they were to alter the times to the same as Reading, this wouldn't be a problem. Am I the only one who thinks they should push to alter the times for next year onwards because I don't even see the problem anyway. How can sound levels be a reason when Leeds site is practically in the middle of knowhere and to my knowledge, Reading is much closer to residential areas.

What are your thoughts?

Us crazy reading kids dont need entertainment at night. You entertainment till 6am is to distract all the guys away from "She who cannot be named". Think how many guys she would have laid if she was the only entertainment at Leeds ;)
