Glastonbury is rubbish

When I arrived I found Eavis sitting on his porch in a rocking chair. I asked "HEy old hippy where is Glastonbury?"

At that point he picked up a shotgun aimed it at me, put a bit of straw in his mouth and said "Right back where you f**king came from."

Big pile of poo, don't waist your time. Iv'e waisted the last 10 years of my life going to that pile of poo just waiting, nah hoping to catch a glance of what I heard about but can't get it, not going to bother anymore, no one else should bother either. Oh and if you won't take my advice about not going best to try and get your tickets about a week or so after they go on sale as the phone lines are much quieter then.

I want my money back.

Call that a festival, I've had more fun in my granny's garden listening to her whistle in her rocking chair. Mind you, on one side the neighbours wife was topless sun bathing and ones on the other side were playing Elbow.

My granny can't whistle very well really.

It was still better than Glasto.

Don't buy a ticket next year.

People moan about the rain and the mud but this year there were several deadly tornadoes.

It's only going to be a matter of time before there's an earthquake or a volcano so just don't bother.

Glastonbury this year was terrible, it was too hot for starters. I don't want sunburn or to be forced out of the sauna of my tent at 7am, not able to sleep during the day, and when I try to sleep in the evening there's a sodding rock band blasting down my ear.

Next year I'm going to Butlins, at least they've got a swimming pool and cool rooms.

I nearly suffocated on the dehydrated cow poo that I inhaled, I am still coughing terribly, it's such a trauma. There are too many bars and too many people being noisy and I hate tents... there are too many tents. You have to walk EVERYWHERE, there's no buses. The hills are really steep, the paths are made of mud, there's no fountains or costa coffee, the showers dont' work. You have to pee in a field. It's AWFUL. Please save yourself the bother and don't go next year.

I'm from yorkshire and would like to advise my fellow yorkshire folk not to go. Not only do you have to leave god's own county but you have to even leave the 'North'. Some of these people don't even know what a whippet or a flat cap is. Oh and its full of this fancy foreign stuff that they call food. Don't worry I just had Yorkshire pudding each day. Avoid Avoid Avoid

It was terrible this year.

What was the deal with not being able to take drinks into the arena? And when in the arena the beer was double the price. The monorail was out of action all weekend too, the hairdryers were too hot, the hair straighteners were too cold, nothing happened between 3pm & 5pm on Sunday, the internet cafes were always busy and my neighbors had a problem with the diesel generator I had running next to my tent all night.

I have been reading a lot about this year's festival and how it was one of the best ever, going to go down in legend etc. This seems to have had the effect that now everybody in the world wants to go next year.

I thought I would do all you Glastonbury virgins a favour and let you know that Glastonbury is actually rubbish. I went this year, and I genuinely think you would hate it.

My advice to you all is don't even bother registering. Don't set that alarm on ticket day. It really is not worth the stress of trying to get tickets. Just enjoy it on the telly from the warmth and comfort of your own home, you'll thank me!

As for the few Glasto veterans on here, I am sure some us will be willing to buy a few festival tickets just as to not hurt the feelings of Mr & Miss Eavis. But don't worry about us, we are experts and are willing to take ticket day stress for the team.

Now, get these silly ideas of trying to get Glastonbury 2011 tickets out of your head and think about something else instead. Like cake?

Hahaha, loving the theory behind this!

Over the next 358 days i will be trying my hardest to discourage people from going, and saying stupidly dramatic things like "Oh Yeh, V Festival is soo much better than Glasto. Its not worst getting out of bed for"

Ha. We need a team effort to beat the crowds!!

I nearly dropped my Daily Mail as when visiting the so-called sacred space, I was asked several times - on one occassion by a black fellow, if I wanted to buy drugs!

Added to the conga line of people at the pyramid stage on Sunday shouting "Let's go get some Ketamine" I don't know how people put up with this, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

The way that V carve up the campsites so you can't even visit tents unless you are in that field makes things so much better, stick to your own tent should be adopted by Glastonbury.

I had to sit in someone else's poo because there was nowhere else to sit :( Every square inch of land was crammed full of people, there was even an oxygen shortage in the end because everyone insisted on bloody BREATHING at the same time! FFS, where is the generous Glasto spirit now?

Yeah, totally over-rated.

It wasn't even as if they had any good music on, I mean...Muse, Stevie Wonder? At least the Gorillaz can be relied upon to pull out a set of songs no one ever heard and then complain if they weren't singing along.

The toilets were so filthy you may as well wipe your arse with someone else's turd.

I couldn't get good wifi ALL weekend. I mean, how the hell was I supposed to post my every random thought every 3 minutes?

I saw 2 serious sexual assaults perpetrated by some fellow who called himself "filthy frank"...last year I saw this same fellow nearly break some poor bustard's back trying to juggle.

I also, and I'll try to be nice about this, but I think I saw some northerners.

Stay away!

I too had an horrendous time. I had only bought a ticket by accident (2 minutes after they went on sale back in the autumn) - I meant to book for the X Factor tour but a bad web-link took me to the Glastonbury page instead. Tragic. And it's been downhill ever since. I was dreading going to the festival and even arrived on the Tuesday night as I just couldn't sleep at home with all the worry about what I was going to have to deal with. What a fool - once you're on site YOU CAN NOT LEAVE until the Monday morning.

I spent 5 whole days in utter misery. Please let that be a lesson to all of those who claim they 'have always wanted to go to Glastonbury'. It's no wonder we lost the World Cup again - with that level of weak ambition. Set your sights higher folks - save up and go to Center Parcs or even France for the weekend instead.

I had the misfortune to walk into the over 60s nudist swingers bar, I had to bleach my brain when I got home, I spent the rest of the weekend throwing up and talking to the Samaritans, who eventually got sick of me and told me to feck off back to my tent. When I got back to my tent, one of the oldest swingers was in my sleeping bag, still naked, offering me a good time :O I will never be the same again :(
