In a bid to try and get people talking on here again seeing as it's so quiet this year (and there are only 7 1/2 weeks left to go)...who does everyone think will get announced on Friday. Here's my wish list that aint gonna happen....

Klaxons

Foals

The Bluetones (I'm old...)

We Are Scientists

And just beacause V is normally a year behind....

Friendly Fires

Jack Penate

Maccabees

Here's hoping.....

Klaxons, We Are Scientists and Maccabees can't play because they're playing Reading/Leeds and it's contracted that if you play that, you can't play V and visa versa. I wish Klaxons were playing!!! :(

I'm putting my money on:

The View

Friendly Fires (good shout that!)

Keane

Vampire Weekend

N-Dubz (sadly)

Jay-Z? Maybe?

Scissor Sisters

One of the above for the main stage.

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
