Well, i have tried to watch the Holland v Slovakia game--- but i just cant---its too painfull, so I`ve crossed over to the tennis.

Williams v Sharapova.

eeee lad, its like turning over to the sound of an orgy!

I plated squash for a lot of years.... and maybe when i was straining every sinew and going flat out for a ball..I would let out a grunt of some sort.

These two, bugger me, is there any need fer that? EVERY shot they wail out like they are about to orgasm.

Its getting on me wick i tell yer.

And--- maybe one of our female contingent could possibly elaborate on the inconvienience of carrying those huge breasts :O into the sporting arena?

Really enjoying Wimbledon this year. Sorry to see Fed gone but it's been fascinating watching how the matches have played out. Nadal not having an easy time of it either. Murray is well up for this game with Tsonga but not sure he'll come through it.

nah...its not posible looking at the draw.

Murray will do very well to get past Noddy. If he doesnt win the 1st set I reckon its goodnight Andy.

FG is class but i cant get away with Cleveland much.

I really hope Murray can do the bizz today. He will never be a champion like Fedds...not because of ability, but because of the mental side of it.

At the very top of all sports (in fact no--- whenever you get opponents of the same ability)..it boils down to bottle and attitude.

Unfortunately from what I`ve seen of Murray so far he drifts in and out too much and allows his oppenent to read him far too easily.

Its great when he`s on the up...that fist punch etc..but when he`s down.. he adds to it with his body launguage. Fedds and Noddy dont do that much.

I hope he does it today though... apart from his massively annoying habit of using a towel after every f**kin point. IT DOES ME KNAPPER IN.

That was a bit of a dominant display by Rafa. I don't know much about tennis, but Murray looks like a flawed player in some way, particularly when the likes of Nadal can get him off balance during his service games

Really?

I thought he only played well in patches, and that Murray was the better player for long periods but didn't take his chances at all. Nadal should have lost the second set and was broken in the third but Murray just couldn't take advantage.

Two examples in this match alone... Blames someone in the crowd for his own failure... Smacking his racket against the net for his own failure...

:)

The guys a cock... His anti English attitude might be swaying me some what :)

WTF are you on about? I was querying why he thought it was a dominant display? It certainly wasn't.

Are you having a laugh? Momentary frustration means he's worthy of derision? How is this any worse than stuff you always see from 'gentlemen of the game' like Roger Federer?

You mean the time a reporter was taking the piss out of him and so he replied "anyone but England"? Or are you actually refering to an incident worthy of note and not press bollocks?

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
