they can go anywhere, tho I wouldn't recommend the dance tent at midnight.... As well as the kids field, I'd recommend the Greenpeace field which has loads for kids to do in it - probably a bit better than kidz for kids that age TBH.

Your biggest problem is going to be getting out of the the kid friendly spaces, coz the kids won't want to leave. Met a bloke last year whose kids had just reached 14, and itw as the first time he'd seen a band on the Pyramid in a decacde...

and we are thinking of letting them roam a bit on there own!! sticking together of course then thinking about it my son could get lost in his bedroom so will see,

See you all there We cant wait, gutted about U2 (did I just risk saying that lol) but there are still loads we want to see

HAVE A GOOD ONE EVERYONE.

p.s If you find a lost boy boy send him to us we will be the ones punching the air :lol::lol:

They can go anywhere......its great.

Remeber to take drinks, sun cream and water proofs no matter what the the wetaher looks like.

You can buy some wrist bands, Great Little trading I think, that you can put loads of numbers on and don't look too sad and they are great.

making sure your kids know the name of the field you are camping in is good too, family camping is best in Cockhill meadow.

they will love it and so will you, its a different festival with children in tow!!!!

We go with our kids too - last year we wanted to see the night circus, which when we arrived the steward on the door said it was 'PG' - laughing we went in and after my 9 year old was covered in fairy dust that the acrobat had just removed from her vagina we left telling the steward on the door it was actually an 18! My daughter has convinced herself the she had it hidden in her clothes - only she didn't have any on but was covered in gold body paint lol

Ewan is not very streetwise (Will be celebrating his 9th birthday at Glasto this year) but he knows if he loses us to go to the people with High vis/jackets/campsite crew/steward people fortunately we have never lost him yet x

That could have been our Ewan! We get 5 t shirts and write as many mobile numbers as we can on with permanent marker, also he has a high vis vest/jacket for when it's raining nighttime so we can spot him easily we write the numbers on that too, Ewan is not very streetwise (Will be celebrating his 9th birthday at Glasto this year) but he knows if he loses us to go to the people with High vis/jackets/campsite crew/steward people fortunately we have never lost him yet x

Well yes. I can't imagine how anyone could think that was serious. I cannot even imagine any inherent risks in him accidentally speaking to an old skool raver - they'd proably just help him find a steward like anyone else would.

We got our 8 y/o boy a £10 mobile phone just for Glastonbury. If he gets lost hopefully we can speak to him and reassure him things will be ok. This is on top of the usual numbers on arm and who to goto precautions. We let him play with it for a few weeks so he knows how to make calls with it.

I know this is off topic but sounds like many people reading this may know the answer.

Been trying to find out how much it costs for my neice's and nephew next year. The ages of them will be 13, 11 and 4. Any help would be greatful.
