Aye this is the one band i have to see over the course of the fest!

Brothers is ok - it definitely gets better with repeated listens though - it seems to be coming from a different mood compared to the earlier stuff, a lot more downbeat. Still some excellent tracks on there.

Been listening to Thickfreakness and The Big Come Up a lot recently and Magic Potion/Rubber Factory are sublime.

Bring em on!

Just got magic potion today gonna listen to it in a bit. Love big come up and rubber factory but with 7 albums they have a lot of songs to pick from so i guess i may be dissapointed if they leave some of my faves out.

Solo stuff is OK. There's some absolute belting tunes on there, especially at the start of the record. Sounds more similar to Brothers than say Thickfreakness. Nice mellow tunes - with the last track in particular standing out "Goin' Home". "I Want Some More" and "Heartbroken, in Disrepair" are great.

There may even be some Blakroc opportunities as Mos Def is playing the same day.
