Rumours at the moment are The Verve, Kasabian and RATM.

The Verve have split up! Or is there a reunion rumour going round? Would love to see them live.

Kasabian- don't really like them, but could see that happening

RATM- would see them if they were on, but wouldn't be gutted if they weren't. Also seems fairly likely.

Also a Foo Fighters rumour starting up- thoughts? I'd actually say pretty likely.

I know there's not much point debating it this far in advance because It'll probably end up being nothing like this, but I'd appreciate everyone's thoughts.

No dream line-ups please, I'm sure there's already a thread for that. Genuine ideas.

Friday - Somebody shit

Saturday - Somebody shit

Sunday - Somebody shit

No, I'm joking. Well, not really.

Friday I'd probably go with Killers

Saturday I'd probably go with Kasabian

Sunday I'd go with System of a Down

So with the exception of Saturday, my initial prediction was right.

Nine Inch Nails have quit performing live so it won't be them.

Ignoring the fact this thread is pulling information from something ancient, I'd say rumours are bound to include Muse, Green Day, Foo Fighters, System, and Kasabian, depending on how well their headline performances go this year..

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
