I know of a family who lost their daughter (infant) to it about 6 weeks ago. It's still about.

We acted fast though, and I remember my mum coming home from work and they were in discussions on coping with expected figures, she works for the council, so it was the right thing to do, be safe and all.

I'm unsure of how much of it got exagerated given how little we knew about it and the fact that my mum saw first hand meetings on the issue at local council levels.
