Camping near pinkpop

Bit of a random one, am already booked to go the Netherlands over the weekend of pinkpop.

have just noticed the pixies are playing on the sunday, i'm therefore looking to go for the one day, but wont be able to camp, so i'm looking for camping suggestions near landgraf.

any recommendations?

Same here. Thinking about just going on the Sunday and camping. I have a camper van though, so just need to be able to park somewhere.

There are 3 camping sites in Landgraaf. No idea whether they still have room though, Pinkpop is after all during Pentecost weekend.

is pentecost weekend a big thing in holland? am also considering maastricht as well.

It's not big-big, in fact most people don't even know the meaning of pentecost. But pentecost Monday is traditionally a national holiday. There will be festivities in several cities and quite a few people will take advantage of the long weekend by going to the beach, or camping.

By the way, Pinkpop is named after the dutch word for Pentecost: Pinksteren.
