It's that time of year again to start saving and start spending less on unnecessary crap. :P

I was wondering what the average amount people take after petrol, tents and pre booze/food buying.

as i'll be at Benicassim less than 2 weeks after followed by leeds fest :P and Bestival :P i need to budget. (all paid for but need spends!) think i spent around 150-200 at the actual fest. this seem average?

i imagine i'll spend about £120 or something. and that's including a tee/hoody from the stall.

planning on surviving a week in poland on about the same amount of spending money as well. so may take £300 with me and just exchange what i have left over from glasto.

I only take spirits with me for drink late night at camp so buy all my food and pints there. On average I spend about £15 on food and £30 on pints a day. So adding on a few extra bits i'd guess i'll go through £250-300 while i'm there. That said though it's the only holiday i'll be having this year so I don't try and hold back on the spending. I could easily do it for a lot less if I tried.

£50 fuel

£50 booze to take with me

£50 for miscellaneous stuff to take with me

£50 to cover food and drink for travelling, plus the day before (Taunton) and day after (Glastonbury)

£75 for food at the festival (£15 per day)

£20 for drink at the festival (Tend to use my own but nice to budget in a cold pint every now and then)

£50 for miscellaneous at the festival

£345

Factor in my share of the hotel rooms (already paid for them) and the trip will cost me about £400. Ticket and parking ticket makes that £600.

Worth every penny :P
