Dunno why some people are moaning about line up..........I've just soiled ma drawers after seeing GREEN VELVET has been added!!!!!!!!!

I'm taking all credit for that....had been on here calling on him to get booked for ages :P:P

His live set at T in the Park last year was outrageous!

Thought Vitalic playing La Rock would be the best tune at Rock Ness this year - but i'll have a multiple male orgasm when Green Velvet sings 'Flash' live

Rockness keeps getting more and more amazing :P

! Blondie will have a huge crowd and their songs will make everyone sing! Crystal Castles seriously excite me, The Macabees might (note the might lol) be ok and, best of all Dananananakroyd are just amazing! I saw them in November and i can just imagine their "Wall of hugs" at Rockness :P

. Pretty good then :P .

Either:

Before Doves on main stage so it would read

The Strokes

Vampire Weekend

Doves

Blondie

Which is an awesome main stage line up.

OR:

Headlining or playing before the headliner in the Clash Tent

nah im pretty sure vampire weekend have been confirmed as playing in the slot before strokes. If blondie is playing the main stage i would have thought they would play the slot before vampire weekend with doves playing before blondie so the trio of new yorkers play one after the other.

i just copied this from the rockness website "VAMPIRE WEEKEND will be the second headliner on Sunday night supporting fellow New Yorkers THE STROKES". surely that means they ARE playing the slot before strokes.

i personally dont think they should, i would say blondie would be a bigger, more suited act to play second from headliner. although im not much of a vampire fan so thats just my opinion.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
