This thread has been bumped many times (mainly by me) but the time you actually pull me up about it I was thanking someone for a donation.

I've said all along that I appreciate people donating (especially in these economic times) and I would personally thank every donation no matter how small in this thread. So far I have done that.

So I apologise if this bothers you (and probably others) and I will try and keep the bumping to a minimum from now on.

This thread is something special, for the purposes of giving people access to the clean water they need to live their lives, and to help us meet Michael's challenge to us to raise £6,000 for WaterAid.

Michael Eavis agreed to present the world cup if we took up his challenge*. We're taking the challenge very seriously.

(* if we don't meet his target he'll still present the cup - but we'll do all we can to hit that target).
