Having said that, it'll be just my luck that all 70,000 of them this year will be just as abso-f**king-lutely stark raving bonkers as my wife was.

Actually, a singles meet sounds like it would be a larrf. Any more info on that?

There was a post on here last year regarding the singles meet. By the end of it I think there were a zillion blokes and one girl posting, I think they'd scared everyone else away ... :P

Forget the 'looking for love' thing. Just go to a couple of the meets from here, and the football, and just enjoy yourself! As long as you relax and have a laugh, anything else is surely a bonus :P

Peace

The Singles meet last year was a total failure also not helped by Shangri La or Trash not being open. The gay meet was supposed to happen too and the whole non event merged into a straggling mess which was a shame. It was a great idea but after the storm and confusion over what was happening it all went royally tits up.

I am not going to attempt to do anything this year myself because for me the reliance of everyone depending on me to know what the f**k was going on when the Gay meet crashed and burned got to me and it was a super stressful mess. Luckily Micheal Jackson dropped off the earth mid mission to nowhere and that lifted spirits especially as we all thought it was just a brilliant Glasto rumour. :P

I would still love to meet the man of my dreams at the Big G though. I did meet an Efester and had a 6 month relationship post Glasto in 2007, it was brilliant meeting at Glasto cos it makes it super special and the rest of the summer hitting as many fests as possible was ace...and then we travelled around Australia as exes which wasnt as mad and bad as it may sound.

There is still a few months for shameless flirting to occur on the boards before the festival so who knows, before we all get to meet in person potential special friendships can already get kickstarted maybe? ;)

Suggestions for anyone who may have their eye on anyone on the boards is to get a decent picture of themselves on their profile page :P Not a hint at all! :P

The photo on profile might be a good idea, even for reasons of just recognising everyone if we haven't met already. We could state if we are single or not, then those of us who haven't got a significant other can eye up the talent (or not talent in my case) :P

rexclark has already posted it, but we met at the efest camp at rockness nearly three years ago and we live together now. :P

i wasn't looking for anything but we just got on really well and we lived really close to each other aswell so it was easy to meet up after the festival.

festivals are a good place to meet people cause it's easy to get talking and you know you'll have similar interests.

So tell me why then...are so many of us still single???

It just doesnt make sense that there are hundreds of single bodlings here on this forum let alone at least 50,000 probably single folk at the fest itself...we all share the same love for the same thing...better efforts need to be made this year to get a lot more people on here together methinks. :P
