Thank god I am not alone. I was starting to go off my rocker. I have managed to tease myself away from here long enough to watch an episode of top gear and munch a pie.

So, what's happened in the short time I have been away. I NEED TO KNOW lol

This is so true. My 3 year old hamster died earlier so after "the cry", I'm straight on tinternet for some serious Glastobsession. Feel better already :P

Yep. It's becoming slightly ridiculous now. I did a 10 minute dance the other day when I realised it was only a 100 days.

My Glasto pile of stuff has started which make my stomach jump everytime I look at those welly socks, and I actually had the same nightmare twice the other night (consecutively) which consisted of me turning up on Wednesday morning with only a tent and I freaked out that I didn't have a bag, sleeping bag and airbed (these are the big things I still need to buy) and for some random reason had to go stand in a queue at Ped Gate B to get them... :P

Oh count me in too, sat here with 3 bottles of cider getting all giddy reading this forum.

Bored everyone at work today with tales of our 15 hour car journey and Tom Jones sweating buckets on the Sunday. Happy days, even the bad times are happy memories :P

I was just wondering...does the obsessiveness die down at all? I mean what happens once Glasto is over, we've had a hot bath and a good nights kip? Does everyone just hit the forums and Glastobate about next years festival? :P

My friend mentioned seeing Tony Benn with one of his mates from college in his status on facebook.

I then went on full throttle Glastobate mode and explained exactly how much of a legend he is to the average Glastonbury punter/obsessive. My mate then said that he (tony benn) mentioned going to Glasto every year and that it was a bit noisy! Made me smile :P

I'm obsessed and proud of it.

I'm a late starter - at the age of 48, this will be my third Glastonbury; my three mates and I will have a combined age of 200 this June.

We are currently having weekly discussions down the pub re:flags, fancy dress, tents, best boots, line-up rumours and predictions, blah de blah de blah....love it.

Obviously this year will not be as good as 2009 - unless they squeeze Neil Young in again somewhere (secret gig in The Park? I think I'd die), but it will be quite simply the Best Week Of The Year. End of.

I'm pretty much obsessed with it. Every time I hear a new album I like, the first thing I think of is whether they'd be Glasto lineup material and what stage they'd be on. Plus I tweet about it nearly every day so it's always there in some way. Always puts me in a good mood. :P

The OP should appreciate that there is absolutely no known cure, anywhere in documented science, for Advanced Glastonbury Obsessionitis.

I've been suffering the acute form since 1994, and a slightly milder version kicked in after my first ever visit in 1984!

We are meeting up with some people we met last year , and all of us are counting the days :P . My son is 16 it will be he's 2nd glastonbury and is hoping that two of he's friends get tickets in the resale on the 11th of April. You can imagine what they will be like if they do ! Will be like when they were 5 on christmas eve . lol :P .

    • Seems the addition of the Sun Stage area is interesting. Suspect this is the area where the Stage 4 used to be pre-2024. Looks as though they want to try create some space to keep people in amongst the arena post-headliners, rather than just crowds all descending back on the campsite entertainment at once.
    • 2000 Trees - 3 Day Tickets on Concert for Carers to buy (pair £15) sure they will not have them for long, I cant check if they are still available as it now says I have already bought tickets.
    • times and technology has changed , a pyramid headliner is often about the show thats put on as much as the music like it or not and as much as many would like to you cant really blame an artist for trying to get the best out of the set both for the audience in the field and for the cameras also .... Beyonce was 15 years ago
