I have faith in Neil/eFests and am truly stunned with this.

Seriously, what are the guys at the top thinking. It's not even like they are a particularly good band, the height of their popularity was years ago and they are hardly an act that you associate with any form of longevity.

I just can't believe it if I'm honest.

I guess their new album is expected to be huge. Quite like the myself, so wouldn't be too upset if this is true, although I admit it would be a bit disappointing.

They're just as worthy as Arcade Fire (who I don't think are worthy of it either).

They have had chart success in the last few years (number 1 single, number 2 album). Organisers have taken a gamble in hoping their new album out in a few months will be big.

Juding how much I see of Paramore, Youmeatsix, Kids In Glasses Houses, Fall Out Boy etc nowadays on a night out, I'd assume MCR are going to be ****ing huge this year.

It's true that MCR might well get bigger with the release of the new album, and in fairness it's also the case with Arcade Fire. Both are solid sub-headliners, and could well have been undisputably worthy headliners in 2011. But to make two of the three headliners bands who might be big enough is a big risk by FR, and one that suggests they were struggling/costcutting for this year.

My chemical romance are one of my favourite bands, so are Blink 182.

although i may be in the minority, todays news is very exciting indeed.

I think both are worthy to headline, I just think people are pissed because both may be headlining in the same year and if your not a fan of one, you more than likely dont like the other.

This happened for me last year with Artic Monkeys and Kings of Leon. I didnt see either but I still had an awesome time like the years before.

Will be strange trying to stay sober enough to catch the headliners this year.
