48 hour grace to pay ticket balance...

So to clarify once and for all, there hasn't been any kind of secret or surprise resale today? I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the email saying the page had changed.

I bet it's down to the cock up where some payments haven't gone through. One of my tickets had this problem and I don't even think the payment went through the second time on Friday! Sounds like there were problems over the weekend too.

my brother wants to go this year as hasn't been since 1986 (when acts included: The Cure, Madness, Simply Red, The Housemartins, The Waterboys, Pogues and Level 42 - poor bloke, how he suffered !)

Attendance: 60,000 (it must've been empty !)

Tickets:£17. Programme: £1. (cheap as chips !)

anyway, he said that they were stuck in a traffic jam for hours to get in, so eventually they all got out & just walked in...he said the place was teeming with drug-pushers and he was quite scared (he was in his 30's then), but consequently 1990 was the year of the massive security problems with over-crowding, so it must've been getting worse each year.

he registered last month, so i'm going to try to get him & his mate tickets in the re-sale...

I didnt get tickets last year for various reasons and want the maximum amount to be available for resale.

I know it's selfish but these people did have enough warning for flips sake.

well i was going to leave it til the last day before i paid (rather the money be in my bank than theirs) but my mates persuaded me it was best to do it a week before so we could be sure of a camper van ticket - so if it was up to me i would've done it yesterday...glad i didn't now of course, but there must've been loads of people who did leave it til yesterday for that reason (among others)...

There are probably hundreds of thousands of U2 and Mr Wonder fans who decided to register on the off chance of nabbing a re-sale ticket salivating at the news that the deadline was increased and folks on forums such as this are saying that maybe its not gonna sell out.....any tickets left will be snapped up quicker than the blink of an eye because of the U2/Wonder announcement. The demand will be huge.

no resale today Zacko, i got a text & jumped out of bed, checked the page, but no - it was the 2 day extension that caused all this panic !

Re-sale day will possibly be Sunday 4th April (but don't quote me on that)

The extension is because (surprise surprise ) See were having trouble with their system yesterday - it was either timing out or not actually registering the payment.

Now I wouldn't leave it till the cut off day to pay my balance but it's not those people's fault that the system wasn't working so only fair they get a few days extra to pay....

I'm certainly hoping there will be quite a few resale tickets available... t'other half has ditched his ticket in favour of Pavement ATP (pavement is his favourite band and he can't afford both) so I may end up going on my own! A load of my mates do want to go but didn't get ready for t-day last year so are now trying to get tickets. Doing my best to organise them too and one rang See tickets today to ask and they told him the next resale is 1st April. Not sure how accurate of see as it's not the usual Sunday but keep an eye out!

Thank God - I would love to be a fly on the wall in See or Glastonbury today to understand how many tickets are left - lets hope there's fousands !!

I hope there's quite a few left as well. But more than anything I wish See would get their act together and stop letting some slip through the net before the official resale (if we are to believe what we have read on here by Alexiss!).
