even at only 2 people per car

one bus only takes 20 cars off the road

and with all the problems off buses, the congestion they cause and their slowness and separate routes ect

buses aren't worth it for convenience, cost or green issues

they only serve one purpose

the festivals licence

How about guaranteeing that people who use PT will not get sniffed or searched. That would increase the numbers using PT :P

in seriousness though, I don't get trains because of the sniffers at paddington and castle Cary.

As a side note: Rail is already at capacity. The CC line is run at max frequency during the festival. So coaches are the only way of increasing PT use.

PT only would throw a big revolt from family campers. I guess one could say "sod them", but I like the all ages mix at the festival. Keeps it more civilised.

In all seriousness, I'm not a drug user, but the sniffer dogs at Reading on Glasto Travel Day make my blood boil. It's just rank opportunism by Thames Valley Police, to inflate their figures without actually tackling drug crime in their area in any constructive way.

It's an absolute disgrace, and a waste of manpower.
