Hey !

Got my ticket , nice weekend in London to look forward to.

Their 2003 performance is still one of my fave Glasto moments !

Will Eavis forgive em and have em back ? - I am still not sure whether their performance in 2005

was dire or sublime !

:P

Big rush this morning to get my tickets for this 'strictly one-off event'. Delighted when I succeeded. Bit disappointed that a second date has been added within 2 hours and probably bloody more to follow....ggggrrrrrrrrrrr.

I know this is a selfish attitude but ho hum.

they're going to play more than just Screamadelica, yeah?

Be a bit of a short gig otherwise. Scream are at their best live when they're rocking through the xtrmntr stuff so would be hoping for much of this in the second half of the show.

And in response to Ivan ... their 2005 gig was sublime!! Proper rock'n'roll . Loved it :P

2005 was one of the best performances I've seen, even though they were totally out of it. Bring them back! Eavis has gone on record saying that Screamadelica is one of his favourite records, and he's always had a good relationship with them. I'm sure they'll be back sooner or later, and preferably sooner.

    • Very probable. I was a bit surprised by the crowd I saw in the video they drew, and I say that as a big feeder fan. I thought they’d draw a really good sized crowd but it looked rows deep. Chuffed for them though. Still think they’re a great band after all these years.  Rumours at they’re doing a Polythene tour next year too.
    • It sounds like Feeder drew a crowd too big for that stage originally. Given the time period they haven’t appeared at Download as well it's a nostalgia thing. Halestorm vs Feeder wasn't the most ideal but leaving after either to get out would have been sweet at least.
    • You cant see everything unfortunately, it would be Halsey there for me 100%, the last 20/25 of Gorillaz. Halsey would be my non negotiable act on that day myself. Oddly Bleech 9:3 would actually give me an option I wouldn't mind between 3:15pm and Halsey. Dogstar would only likely be a 10 minutes thing of I've seen Keanu lol.
    • I think the tent was just right for Feeder, on that day anyway.   If you had a Biffy-esque day again, or someone of that ilk (maybe Pearl Jam for example), whack them on that main stage. 100%.    As it is, I think feeder will be back and probably high up the second stage or main stage next year or 2028.
    • I think we still have 2 acts to announce each day, maybe one more big name to complete the lineup?   Perhaps the big name is Turnstile on Thursday, which isn't sold out yet. And some other names that could be added like Iceage, Band of Horses or Tomora.
