I don't think The Proxy is playing anymore, Thomas Von Party (Tiga's brother) said Proxy wont be back in the UK until "late-summer/fall" on the Erol Alkan forum so I'm guessing his visa issues haven't been sorted out yet. That's the reason he's not played the UK for soo long, hopefully it gets sorted soon as he was who I was looking forward to most for this night. Rockness need to get him booked provided his visa issues get sorted before then.

Just looked on his MySpace ( http://www.myspace.com/useproxy ) and the Rotterdam "Planet Turbo" night (which is the tour this is part of) is listed but the UK shows the following two days in Glasgow & London still aren't listed. The flyer for the London event is up too and he's not on that, although it does say "Plus special guests" which could be a back-up incase they get the visa sorted at last minute. Plus the quote from TVP on Post #20 of this thread ( http://erolalkan.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?id=36948&p=1 ) states Proxy will be back in UK "by the end of summer / early fall" after a couple of posts enquiring about Proxy. I'm still holding out some hope but I know I tried to book him for nearly a year and a half and he's been having visa problems for a while.

EDIT: As far as the sources go, I see TVP is now Proxy's manager so that's a pretty decent source.

    • Thing is, I'd have said that as well.   But then she inexplicably ended up on the Wilderness lineup and that changes everything. I reckon if that goes well, which it will, then she's very much in the picture.
    • This has probably been discussed a hundred times already on efests but what constitutes a legend? I know some of it is my age but I don't see eurithmics or Duran Duran as legend status. Neil young or nils lofgren then yes and neither of them have overly troubled the charts. Duran Duran and indeed the eurithmics I would put in the 80s category and whilst it would be ok (human league at isle of wight we're fabulous) they just arent in my mind legend status.  Zombies played same festival- i would take that.
    • friendly tonight delayed , pitch draining pretty quick to be fair .... not sure it bodes well for other games with potential fixture backlog
    • Never happen, but an Annie Lennox solo or Eurythmics reunion would make me very happy.
    • Burnham going to go blue labour to ensure he wins makerfield and gets enough nominations from the PLP. How he’d govern is anyone’s guess. Odds on to win anyway so guess we’re not too far away from finding out.
