Ticket Transfer?

I know transferring tickets is generally not allowed, but I'm currently in a situation where me and my mate are going to be trying to get tickets during the re-sale in April (and not holding out much hope!), while another 2 mates who have paid their deposits have decided they aren't going this year.

Is there any way Glastonbury will let us transfer the tickets over?

After getting tickets on the day of sale for the last 2 years, and then the festival not selling out for another few weeks, I thought I wouldn't need to be so on the ball for this year. Turned out to be very wrong!!

Sorry, I'm afraid not. It's not allowed. Only thing to do would be to try and get in on your friends ticket. Hope you get tickets in the resale though.

Some careful identity management is called for methinks. I hope your mates who want to go look like your mates who don't. Their only chance may be to consider hair colour, beards etc - or 'I've been poorly and have lost/put on a lot of weight.'

I'm tempted to do that cos one of my mates is a similar build/weight to me and the pictures aren't great. Only problem is he has a massive sideshow Bob style afro on his photo, which I don't have. Would be travelling down from the North East as well, long way to go to not get in...

Not in any way condoning you doing anything remotely naughty and all that of course ... but Clicky Ye Here for amusement (and/or Glasto attire inspiration purposes ) although shipping from Oz may be a tad expensive

It's a real b*gger that tix can't be legitimately swapped due to the open door for abuse that it would provide to all the scumbag touts but I hope you have mucho good luck in the resale
