Deadmau5 was amazing, the stage set up was awesome.

The crowd was just weird though...

Good show, sh!t crowd... Not totally but imo mostly caused by the underage part of the crowd.

Shouting that famous scottish clubbing phrase at every opportunity, A lot of the time not even in time with the music... it sounded stupid.

Shouting deadmau5 during the other guys set :s ay I bet he loves you now. Although fair enough he was not the best.

There was a wee crowd of 16/17 year olds I'd say standing in front of me & poleski, the whole way through Moguai's set 2 of the guys just stood with there hands in the air in what appeared like some sort of attempt to look like they were die hard clubbers having a euphoric moment & go to The arches every other weekend and Ibiza every summer.

They were not the only ones I seen do this, sometimes I felt worse for them when the proceeded to start doing point 1 at the most random of times just for the sake of shouting it.

Numerous people who were clearly F*cked... to the point some of them couldn't stand up but proceeded to try and push (fall) through the crowd.

As I very very very rarely see any of the above at The Arches and other 18+ club nights I can only assume it was caused by the udnerage part of the crowd, which tbh I had kind of expected being a 14+ gig.

As I said gig itself was amazing, not the best Mau5 gig I have been ( that was my 8th ;p) to but the stage production alone was worth it.

    • Never too early to start discussing next year’s headliners right?   I’m not attending this year so thought I’d get the ball rolling as I saw Weezer have a new album out in August I’d expect them to do this or Slam Dunk next year. I mean they’re probably too big for this however I think they’re niche enough that they would maybe do it, it just depends on if the fee is a bit out of range for trees.    It’ll be the 20th anniversary next year so I’d expect some throwbacks and hopefully some big headliners/acts. James has already said he’s made a mad booking that you wouldn’t guess & I think he mentioned that he’s spent something like 80% of this years budget of next years top line already on last weeks 2 promoters 1 pod (Don’t quote me on that).    I reckon they’ll try for and get at least two (not all) of the following - Enter Shikari, AFI, Weezer, Sex Pistols Feat Frank Carter, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
    • for some reason last night watched series one of Prey on Netflix.   if Legends was written by Timmy Mallet (see above) then Prey seems to have been made by Mr Blobby.   why are all these British crime dramas so sh*t?
    • It'll be all over various Seatfillers based upon previous years at Sandringham
    • The Jayhawks 2026 UK Tour    Sept 15 – Brighton – Corn Exchange  Sept 16 – London – Electric Ballroom Sept 17 – Manchester – Academy 2 Sept 18 – Glasgow – The Garage    For you ‘americana’ lovers. They have a great song book.
    • Weezer just announced a new album & US tour so could add them to the headliner pool. Imagine they’ll do this or trees
