Not a bad ending I thought. I can't believe it's been going on for so long and now it's over.

I've got the box set for the West Wing if anyone fancies coming over and getting stuck in? I need something else in my life now.

I'm still not convinced that it was "limbo"? The way I see it, everything on the island happened and they all went on to live their lives as they were meant to. They died all at different times but waited to come together before they "moved on"? But it was early!! I liked the ending!

To be completely honest, the ending was utter crap wasn't it. So much unexplained, and although I like a little spiritual mystery, it was all a bit underwhelming.

It was shit writing, making it up as they went over the 6 seasons, thus being unable to actually answer the questions raised. It was intriguing and interesting a couple of seasons back before it started to become all about faith and destiny.

Come on! In reality how many of you are dissatisfied and pissed off with the end?

Fairly sure the spoiler text was unneccessary, surely anyone who hadn't seen the finale would have steered clear of the thread (plus if I want to read everything written I have to reply to each individual post! Bloody Iphones!)

Anyway my take (probably repeating a few but it's too tedious to go back and read everything written)

- Everything on the Island happened, and was not some sort of limbo or purgatory.

- The alternative time-line was a form of purgatory/limbo that after the died (Hurley, Ben, Rose, Bernard and those who escaped the island would have lived full lives) allowed them to all meetup and move on to the next plain.

- This theory is backed up by the exchange between Ben and Hurley - "you were a great number two", implies they ran the island together for some time before dying.

- Ben didn't go into the church because there were too many people who he had wronged, and despite his reform, he chose to stay behind.

Yeah there were alot of unanswered questions, but overall I found the ending very satisfying, and dare I say it - Brilliant.

Yeah the afterlife party was just all the Losties meeting up after they had all died in real life. Time doesn't exist there, there's no such thing.

At the end they had all found each other. They were no longer Lost. They were happy. That was the point.

Never watched anything that has made me care so much for so many characters to such a massive extent. That could only happen at the end of a long series.

    • Based on previous times that rules quite a lot out of early summer festivals into the August runs.
    • No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs
    • The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.
    • I can see them all merging along with the Tory’s . Restore curently couldn’t muster enough candidates to be a viable option . I lasted 4 mins and couldn’t watch any more . Lowe is just dull along with racist
