NICE!

I expect something juicy after the AC/DC news leaked and then Andy Copping took a swipe.

Id love the big 4 for UK Soni, Metallica headline Friday, make it so!

By the way one ticket website is saying Friday starts at 5pm so I won't be expecting much.

Don't think Fear Factory will get announced until after their Feb tour

Manson is a good shout and his UK tour has just gone by so yeah could be Marilyn Manosn getting announced, he likes to play under Iron Maiden though, did at Reading 2005, and im sure he has at other Euro festivals before, even though you're right he would be a good fit for Friday

Nice line up... I'll be there now, can't make download next year so I'm certainly more than happy with how soni is looking... I wasn't convinced it would work last year but was happy to be proved wrong... Bring on Knebworth :P

Placebo are nowhere near the band they were live or on CD anymore.

I saw them in 2000, and 2001 and they were quality then I saw them on the meds tour and they were pretty dull, and when ive seen them on tv too. But I saw their set on TV from Rock AM Ring this year they seemed back on form, I think being on such a 'rock' line up in the UK they might step up their game, and put on a stellar show. I hope they do. :P

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
