Well I'd rule out AC/DC as Download had to jump through hoops to get them and I thought GnR were exclusively booked elsewhere as well.

Foos are studio bound in September but I think TCV will do Glastonbury to finish off their tour before going back to their bands.

To be honest HRC has screwed up by not announcing Sat headliner sooner - most people will hold off buying until they know they are going Friday to Sunday! So far am hopeful of a great Saturday headliner

The organisers definitely messed up big time by not announcing sooner who is playing Saturday and also by not announcing more acts on the Sunday.

Have the Friday or Sunday sold out yet?

I'm actually growing quite impatient with the organisers' hesitance to announce more acts.

Just thinking, what about Counting Crows, Goo Goo Dolls, Weezer, Soul Asylum, Paul Westerberg, Manic Street Prechers, R.E.M., Alice N Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, Ben Folds?

Probably too Alt Rock but just some bands I would really love to see.

Love the version of Paradise City that Slash recorded with Cypress Hill and Fergie and Fergie sounds perfect on the song.

Pre-ordered the special fan pack of Slash's album which should be a belter.

Was rumored for both Download and Sonisphere unless things have changed.

    • Personally, I do hope Fontaines headline next year. Feels like it's their time in terms of the contemporary element - I know 2028 could equally be but I think (and speaking as an old git) they are probably the most significant band to emerge for a good few years, and they've already accumulated 4 great albums, let alone adding 5th, to field a memorable setlist.

    • Alright fair, I thought she only did BST once. Though I do question how that type of pop show will translate to a stadium.
    • yeah, but I enjoy moaning about them too much so whatever I guess.   and besides... a few years from now there will be absolutely nothing on TV except for Coben based shows so I'd best get used to it...   🙂        (for anyone who has ever read a Coben book - are the books as utterly sh*t as the tv shows???)
    • Those in the Glastonbury ‘Tour’ thread buying tickets noticed it when tickets first went on sale.   And if you look at the blocks still on sale here https://www.axs.com/uk/events/1489025/muse-tickets?skin=theo2 blocks 410-414 definitely stand out as the only seating areas without tickets available, so appears that they still haven’t gone on sale.
