Muse Stadium Tour

I'm definitely of the mindset that Glasto gets them this year and Leeds next year. Makes sense. Would be very surprised if Muse missed out on the 40th anniversary.

An interesting development:

They still have tickets for sale for both the friday & Saturday dates at Wembley so I can't see a 3rd date being added now in all honesty...they prob provisionally booked the Sunday just incase a high demand saw the need to add a 3rd show

Surely Blink are not big/relevant enough to headline... it would certainly be a very sad day if they did.

And they can't put the Foos on again, that would be ridiculous.

I'd think The Libertines are a pretty good bet.

Bit of a lack of big bands around at the mo isn't there??

Sorry, but that's a massive contradiction. Blink are much more within their rights to be considered headline material than The Libertines. I like both, but no way should the Libertines go from 3rd/4th on the bill to headliner, just because they split and their singers a tabloid bothering crack head.

Though you could make the case for the likes of Blink 182/Kasabian/The Strokes being 2nd headliners, I think ultimately there's bound to be some slightly underwhelming headliners due to the amount of R/L headliners pretty much ruling themselves out (Muse are TBC for Glastonbury by efestivals now, which surely kills off their chances, if they hadn't been already.) That is unless R/L pull a real surprise headliner out of the bag- AC/DC, Pulp, Daft Punk (I wish.) I won't hold out much hope though.

with glastonbury bagging all the big acts for their anniversary and download and sonisphere seemingly quicker off the mark last year with all the big rock acts,i cant see reading and leeds having any decent headliners.r/l have the advantage over the others as they can guarantee a sell out so having major headliners is not as vital for R/l as it is for the other festivals.
