ok, just finished watching nearly two hours off Beyonces concert in LA ( i'm off work and the missus is away) and i have to sat that if her no talent boyfriend Jay Zee can headline at glasto then she certainly can. I have said though that her whole concept is to big for glasto, though i would certainly go to see her, just for the voice alone. I am 47 and have seen many solo singers in her gendre ( sorry dont know the french!) and i have to say shes the best performer, great show.

You should have watched the Gandhi documentaries on i-player instead. You might have worked out how to spell the name properly :P

Best Gandhi quote : "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."

That really surprises me. I would have thought Stevie Wonder or Bob Dylan or someone would have racked up loads more (just because they've been around longer).

I don't like Jay-Z particularly, by the way. I do however like old school rap. Eazy-E for me please.

That's amazing.

That's the number of number one albums that Jay-Z has had in the States, not that you like NWA, PE, Wu Tang.

I've always maintain that anyone who says that they don't like hip-hop can't have heard "Straight outta Compton".

Guys, first of all let me start by saying that the " no talent" comment was a bit strong i agree ( a few too many glasses of wine , a week off from work ), i actually saw him on Jools the other night and he was quite good, although i preffered his female singer. I have actually bought a Cyrus Hill album in the past on the back of a single, but at the present time its not to my taste , i would say the same about Classical music. I listen to a lot of music, whatever suits my mood..from soul to rock, progressive , hard and soft , old and young bands, i just don't listen to Rap. I have not said its crap, just i do not like to listen to it.

There i hope you are all better now...now can we move on please :P

    • Same’s happened at MSG recently with Rush and Phish alternating nights. I guess each band has its own unique production so their riggers will be kept busy
    • The rumour was uk arena tour late this year.  Same as Charli xcx cant be announced until Reading headline is done.
    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
