Any idea how many are up for grabs today? Is it just cancellations/ticket day f**k ups or were some extra held back?

OK bit of a spooky one here.....I bought my ticket about half an hour ago, although I hadn't looked on here to find out, I just had an inkling out of the blue that I should check the webpage. I did, and I got my ticket!!! Jumped on here to find out how long the rest of the community had known about it.

Once again, I have defied the laws of sensible explanation during my ticket buying! Did the communtiy give such a big vibrational yay that I picked it up out of the ether...? ....Er....thanks for that.

I love it when stuff like this happens!

Ive just got one friend who needs tickets now but unfortunately he lives in the US and i cant for the life of me get hold of him to either tell him, or get his reg details to do it for him...i wonder how long they will be on sale for

I've got no firm info, but have been given the impression that it's not a small sale, so they could well be on sale for a few hours yet.

loads being sorted out via the efests twitter too, plus around 22,000 people have been emailed by eFestivals with news about it too.

A mailing was already going out, so I stopped it and added in the Glasto tix news .... so far over 300 peeps have bought tickets via that, and most of the people who'll get that mail haven't got it yet (as it's still sending).

+1 - do you know why they came up today ? Any particular reason ?

not entirely sure. I'm guessing that Glasto are wanting as many sold as possible before the end of the year, as they get to pocket the 2.5% extra VAT that will have to be paid from Jan 1st.

congratulations to all who got tickets this time round... i managed to secure some for work colleagues again and have now been given the illustrious title of Ticket Mistress!!! oh yeeeeeaaaaah baby!

you have once again allowed me to be a legend in the workplace and for that i thank you

on a slightly sadder note... i will still be solo raving until my friend gets off her butt and sorts out her registration... its literally driving me crazy that she's being so lazy about it but hey ho... solo raving has its perks i imagine
