OK bit of a spooky one here.....I bought my ticket about half an hour ago, although I hadn't looked on here to find out, I just had an inkling out of the blue that I should check the webpage. I did, and I got my ticket!!! Jumped on here to find out how long the rest of the community had known about it.

Once again, I have defied the laws of sensible explanation during my ticket buying! B) Did the communtiy give such a big vibrational yay that I picked it up out of the ether...? :lol: ....Er....thanks for that. :D

I love it when stuff like this happens! :)

Quite possibly :) ....Without coming across as stalkerish, I've seen you there before tho B) ; in the queue for the hog roast on the wed or thurs 2008.

I did think about going over and saying hi, but you looked too engrossed in your roast pig and I didn't wanna ruin your moment :lol:

Ive just got one friend who needs tickets now but unfortunately he lives in the US and i cant for the life of me get hold of him to either tell him, or get his reg details to do it for him...i wonder how long they will be on sale for :lol:

I've got no firm info, but have been given the impression that it's not a small sale, so they could well be on sale for a few hours yet.

loads being sorted out via the efests twitter too, plus around 22,000 people have been emailed by eFestivals with news about it too. :lol:

A mailing was already going out, so I stopped it and added in the Glasto tix news .... so far over 300 peeps have bought tickets via that, and most of the people who'll get that mail haven't got it yet (as it's still sending).

Result. B)

congratulations to all who got tickets this time round... i managed to secure some for work colleagues again and have now been given the illustrious title of Ticket Mistress!!! oh yeeeeeaaaaah baby!

you have once again allowed me to be a legend in the workplace and for that i thank you :P

on a slightly sadder note... i will still be solo raving until my friend gets off her butt and sorts out her registration... its literally driving me crazy that she's being so lazy about it but hey ho... solo raving has its perks i imagine :)

I love ticket monday! :):):)

      Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha

      Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
