2010 tickets?

haven't been to download before when do tickets go onsale?iv tried looking about online to see when they usualy go up but i cant find anywhere thats says when they do i know theres no line up yet but iv been to most other festivals(uk) so gonna give download a go this year hoping rammstein play :-) wanted to go last year as the line up was great but had other stuff on :-( missed faith no more booo, anywho yeah when do they go on sale

Usually March I think. Rammstein do seem to be hotly tipped.

with the stuff coming from Andy's twitter if a headliner gets announced in the next few weeks then i'm hoping they do a deposit scheme similar to Glasto so i'm hoping tickets will be on sale before xmas this time.

Lithium is correct though its usually end of Feb beginning of March to coincide with the first announcement.

Yea there should be an announcement soon, have a quick read of the twitter comments thread. looks like it might be a good band to which is looking like Rammstein but if rumours are to be slightly believed from them over on the official DL forum Bon Jovi have been asked.

Back on subject the Download organisers, may have been Andy im not sure anyway, someone official said after this years festival in the summer, that the plan was they would announce the headliners and put the tickets on sale before Christmas. Plans change tho, but I haven't heard otherwise so Id expect to hear something between November and early Dec [at the latest]

Joking. I'd be delighted with those headliners, as would I be if one dropped out and Pearl Jam step in. Any three of those 4 and I'm pretty chuffed.

I reckon you'll have major popy cross over appeal band/come back band. Metal band for the metal heads. Classic band for the classic day which looks to continue.

So if Rammstien and Bon Jovi/Deep Purple are getting throwen about, that two out of three. blink is just a hope, but they'd suit the bill.
