Stone Roses

I would love it so much if The Smiths were to reform for a one off gig at Glasto 2010, seeing as I was unfortunate enough to be born after they'd split up, think it would be ace. Don't think it's very likely though, being that they seem to hate each other.

I think Pulp may be somewhat more likely though, or The Libertines.

Actually to be fair I remember Jarvis saying he was watching Blur to see if bands who reform are still good and in my honest oppinion (this is a person who until he arrived at glastonbury was not up for Blur donning the old cape for money) I thought it actually established them as one of the greats. But with them breaking up again after it I doubt Cocker would be convinced it's the right thing to do. That said he plays with his old band mates live anyway, he just doesn't want to butcher his old songs, Blur didn't do it (in my oppinion) so who knows? I still say no and my ball kicking offer stands :) The Libertines doesn't seem right and I agree with whoever said if they stuck around they would have fizzled (but who knows I just think a lot of their songs are already quite dated, not to say people still don't want to hear them) and The Smiths won't happen either. The Stone Roses will continue to be cryptic but it looks like it will never happen, like The Libertines they don't have the back catalogue to really carry it anyway, although they will definitely gather huge crowds.

Sorry for all the bracket sentences (I'm not sure if they are necessary). Blur's quick reunion actually worked for me so I don't blame you for believing others can do it but I just personally believe none of these acts will play and it's beginning to annoy me when people put them as serious suggestions because I have no life haha.

No

There is also no chance of the smiths, the libertines, pulp or any other big broke up British band people can't let go of. If any of these bands even reform I will post my address on here and invite you all to come around and kick me in the balls.

    • Not my experience. I've always got the size I paid for.
    • Kind of crackers how fast this summer seems to be sailing by. But aye, must be some news soon!
    • I am very possibly wrong about this but I do think that the pitch you get allocated appears to be related to your time of arrival, (i.e. you get the next one available) rather than the price you paid for a small, medium or large pitch.  They all appear to be the same size to me.
