Glasto Virgins!

We got our two!

First timers.

And I actually feel kinda bad about getting tickets over some people that go every year.

I remember how gutted I was when Coachella sold out early in 07 (the Rage Against the Machine reunion year) and it suuuucked.

Luckily an ex broke up with her BF like 3 weeks before it and I got his ticket. Whew!

Sometimes I envy the first timers.

And then other times I am glad that I can look back on the mad times I had there during the 1980's and onwards.

this will be my first glasto. i've always wanted to go and i watch it on tv every year feeling gutted that i'm not there. i'm so excited i think i might burst!

I'm a first time festival goer, had to be Glasto, I got my ticket at 10.17, about 20mins after login and 10 hours later got my mates see you there

Newbies here too, both me and my good lady have never been.

Have done other festivals before but as my best mate said when I told him I got tickets "You finally get to go to the big one".

For those who didn't manage to get tickets, I know how you feel. I've tried for 6 years straight and this is my first successful attempt.

First Festival in the UK.

Coming from California because I've always wanted to do something like this and the 40th seemed like the perfect time to take the plunge.

Im a seasoned festival veteran but this time im taking 3 glasto virgins with me. They have also only experienced titp so this should be a great experience of a proper festival for them.

Me and the wife plus two kids are all glasto virgins plus festival virgins,we have lived in somerset for 20 yrs and never been so i finally put my foot down and got off my zimmer frame to get some tickets.AM i excited probably more than my sixteen yr old daughter and thats not easy.

I've only ever worked at Download last year and in '07, that just about killed me but im hoping being able to relax abit this year
