Bestival 2010

Hi all

Got our Bestival tickets through post a couple of weeks ago but we also booked coach tickets with Southern Vectis from London. It said on the letter with the tickets that details of the coach travel would be emailed "as soon as they are at hand" but with only a week to go atill no sign. Anyone got theirs and should we phone them or wait.

Does anyone have a rough idea of how long the coach/ferry will take from Stratford, our coach leaves at 10.30am just wondering when we will arrive

first time at bestival - is there a seperate arena like reading where you can't take in alcohol or is it like glastonbury? just wondering how much money/own alcohol i should bring? cheeers

nice one, cheers! one more question... where's best to camp out of the main red, black green colours? me and my friends would be up for more of a loud, party atmosphere rather than a more quiet campsite. and whats boutique camping?

Usually people leak the set times or a clashfinder on the net beforehand, but

thats not the case this year!

Oh well i was going to buy a programme anyway i just like the pre-plan!

However only take these times as a rough guide. Over the official forum someone says they are inaccurate. Should be fine for working out major clashes and such like though

Does anyone have a ferry ticket they aren't using for Monday? Deciding to last yesterday means I can't get off the island till 10:30pm Then drive for 3 hrs

I'm very sad as I can't go to Bestival this year - CAN PEOPLE STOP GETTING MARRIED ON BESTIVAL OR GLASTO WEEKENDS!!!

great weekend! first time at bestival so i can't compare it to other years but i thought the lay out was really good and i was very impressed by the amount of effort and amount of people who dress up on the saturday. great way to finish a long festival summer, especially the epic fireworks and bonfire on sunday night!

Could anybody who has been to this festival describe what it is like atmosphere wise? Is it similar to Glastonbury with lots of random things to do and not just about the music?
