These days there's no real riots, just a few twats probably high on the fumes of the ridiculous amouht of peroxide they put in their hair, blowing things up because they think "it's well mental, mate!". No, the rioting only really happened in the Temple Newsam days which is about ten years ago now.

20 minutes to the arena door if you get a move on and there's little traffic.

Could easily be 40 or more if you go slow/are someone with inappropriate footwear :P/stop for the stalls etc

ive been the last two years but this will be my first year living in leeds cause of uni...just wondering if there are shuttle buses from the train station on wednesdays??

My advice is get an early entry pass. Getting in on the WEednesday is great. You get a pick of the camping spots, you don't have as far to go carrying your stuff and you can relax on the Thursday knowing you don't have to go through the hassle of finding a spot and pitching your tent.

A mate of mine got his beers taken off him , he smuggled em in , then proceeded to pull them

out of his wellies about 6 foot from the main entrance.

I've heard of under 18s getting IDd with booze at the gate but unless you look about 12 you should be ok.
