Wasps at Leeds

They were f**kin everywhere, every time I opened the tent up one of little buggers sneaked in, when I was at the Main Stage (which wasn't very often this year) I spent most of the time trying not to get stung.

Anyone else have this problem?!

Found a Wasps nest in Orange Funfair

Yeah we had loads of wasps at Leeds. we did beat them 15 - 1 I think though. Thankfully it wasn't me that one stung.

I've never seen this problem before until this year at Leeds. Highly irritating. I wonder why it is. We even tried keeping our campsite squeaky clean and they still came!

They were an absolute nightmare, especially when there's 15 girls camping with you.

they were literally everywhere i turned. in my tent, outside my tent, on the way to the arena, in the arena, day, night whatever the temperature was i saw wasps.

but i slayed many of them

Turns out they quite like cider, and prefer pear over apple.

That was the worst I've ever seeen, everywhere I went they were millions of the pesky things. I also found screaming at them doesnt work either.

on the sunday the SB6 singer had a wasp buzzing around her and their were loads at Leeds until it started to rain

We thought having a smokey fire would ward them off, but no joy. They proceeded to land on the hot ash and fly away totally unharmed.

the wasps were f**king ridiculous at leeds. i couldn't even enjoy a can of cider and an ice cream outside my tent because of them. one of the wee shites actually landed on my can of cider so i had to throw it away. gutted.

A lad in front of me in the queue got stung and I heard that my friend's daughter got stung but it sounds like we had a lucky escape, I hardly saw any!

They were one of the most irritating things of the festival for me! I almost swallowed one. They were landing on all our cans all the time but we swatted them away, one somehow managed to find its way in though and didn't find it's way back up until it was dead in my mouth!
