No they won't. The same crowds come year in year out, and they are used to it, and it isn't out of the ordinary.

Litter picking is far better an option for many than farm labouring that may be avaiable.

...Even if the scouts had gone up I believe it would've been a waste as some considerate t**t, I don't know if during or after the fest had gone around and slashed through every tent they could find so every decent tents the scouts could've used was useless.

I saw 3 caravans being towed on the motorway, they were absolutely battered and mouldy. They were being pulled by a 2007 reg Audi A4 estate and the other two by 2007 Land Rover Discoveries. I was pretty sure those caravans would have been dumped, no one would bring those caravans back unless they absoluetly had to. I believed they bought them on the cheap so they could dump them afterwards.

I can understand why people would leave their tents behind if there tent has been slashed(all though it would've been easier if they had taken it down) but it astonished me how many tents had been slashed with a knife(if I was to rob a tent I would go through the front door as it much less supicous!!!) it seemed as if some one had gone around after the fest ruining tents!!!

very sadly, many of the people who are leaving their tents behind choose to slash them, on the basis that "if I can't have it (cos I can't be bothered to carry it) then no one else should have it either".

Sad but true - it's something I've seen happen many times at Glasto (tho I didn't see it happen this year).

If I'm being honest, I left my tent in 2007. I don't even think I unpegged it.

Sounds terrible, but I honestly didn't even consider it. Just thought 'it's muddy and almost broken, I'm leaving it.' Didn't think for a second who would have to take it down or anything like that.

Wouldn't exactly call myself selfish, just a bit stupid for not thinking about it.

      I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer

      That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.

      Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
