the ones by lock up in pennards were overly clean. no nasties around the toilet. seats were dry as a bone!!!! still cleaned the seat tho.

pales in comparison to the utter vileness @ latitude last year.

Most of the toilets I used were fine! Have to confess to using the Comfy Crappers (wonderfull!) for number 2s, and the shee pees whenever nearby, but used plenty of longdrops & portaloos as well and only saw one that was really gross - that was in the Other Stage field - they do always seem to be the worst ones for some reason.

Toilets were the best I've experienced at a festival this year. I never saw any sh*t that hadn't landed where it should, they were regularly emptied and if (like me) you find a good toilet that stays nice all weekend it's good to make it a detour before you head anywhere where you know it's going to be worse.

Never used a portaloo, long drops and urinals all the way.

If anyone is interested, the toilets by the crossroads top of avalon/bottom of green crafts were my choice. Lower sides, always clean, never overfull and you get a nice passing breeze. Pennards toilets were ok also, not as good, but still ok, particularly the lockup side.

First time at Glastonbury, had an amazing time - will definitely be back.

But the toilets are horrid, the worst I have seen at any festival I have been to. I don't know if its because of the sheer numbers that its difficult to get them cleaned but surely they need to do something.

And the long drops are rancid.

I can honestly say, that all the times i went to the toilets (allways longdrops) they were superb and clean, the wood style seat was dry (apart from rain times) and this was a very pleasant year loo wise. only once did i see a mini poo on the edge of the hole that hadnt fallen.

Long drops at bottom of Wicket Ground were clean as usual, although the location of the water pipe could do with moving into the open a bit. Portaloos by the Mandela Bar were as bad as the previous year come the Sunday.

Long drops at bottom of Dance Field where it meets John Peel were probably the worst smelling re: ammonia. It's not helped by them having covers, this doesn't allow enough ventilation.

They moved the toilets between Avalon & Jazz World this year which was silly as people just wee'd in the bushes where they used to be.

The long-drops at bottom of Pennards weren't as bad as I remember them to be, I didn't even get to the Park to refresh my memory of those.

And yes, what was it with the idiots peeing up against the covers of the men's urinals? FFS, can't you wait your turn?

And a massive shout of thanks to the Toilet Cleaners for doing what must be done, I hope you were rewarded well.

Can't say I went into a single bad toilet all festival. Didn't use the portaloos as they stink in the heat, all the longdrops I went into were fine. You can expect a smell in that heat, but I was lucky enough to get cleanish ones. The urinals were terrible tho - people had been pissing all over and blocked them with bottles and cans. Scrotes

I've not had that much luck with the flushing loos in the past.

Yeah, they flush. Big woop. Yet people still sprinkle on the seats, leave piss stained paper lying around etc.

For some reason, I've found the long drops better looked after.

Thought the toilets could have been far worse tbh, yes there was the revolting smell when you walked past them and went in them but they could have been worse and I was able to sit down in the longdrops at times and I liked the flushing lever thing in the portaloos as well.

There even was some bloke at the portaloos to the left of the pyramid at one point, that sprayed some sort of air freshener thing into the cubicle before you went in which was nice!

The longdrops were absolutely disgusting. The ones by the Peel tent were not cleaned once all weekend, and there was never any hand sanitizer after Thursday morning. This one stall had the same diarrhea all over the walls (not mud, was there before the rain hit) the whole weekend. No excuse for such gross incompetence. I said screw it, and made the 30 minute hike to comfortable crappers and paid the fee whenever I had to go number two.

Where were there flushable toilets?

I had no complaints about the loos, I stick to long drops because I prefer not to be locked in a confined space with a load of crap, and it's kinda nice when you're hot and sticky to get a bit of a breeze round your nethers B) I got free loo roll from the lock up near ped gate A so no worries about that, I've never expected there to be loo roll in festival loos ever, so it was a brucie bonus to find a loo roll in the Water Aid loos, which were fab. The smell is inevitable so you just have to develop a stomach of steel, or cover your nose with something sweeter smelling.

It really annoys me when people put toilet roll on the long drop seats because inevitably they leave it there and it gets wet and the toilet is then unusable by anyone else :D If you're gonna do that, throw the loo roll down the hole when you're done please!!

Finally, kudos to the toilet cleaners and the guys on the shit sucker trucks who do a grand job :D

The flushable's are a well kept secret, lets just say they're on the north of the site. Last year I would happily walk 10-15 minutes for their luxury, this year I was about 30+ minutes away so couldn't be bothered. The toilets in dairy were pretty grim though, never saw any cleaning teams at the ones in south park.

compared to previous years, the loo's were a dream! Only a couple of bad ones all festival. My only query would be... what happened to the doors at the bottom of Pennards. By the Sun, there were loads missing! I had my trusty travel johns for in tent weeing... first time I've used them, and shall without doubt be a festival necessity!

    • My understanding is that the queues returning back to the UK will be much worse (up to two hours) but the queue entering Lisbon isn’t so bad. That’s just from reading a few forum posts about it though so take it with a pinch of salt!

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
