I too have had churning guts all week and felt generally shit, just been to the pub, had a coke minus vodka and wanted to come home which is unheard of for me. Been knackered all week as well even though I've had really early nights :)

Am just glad it's happened now though and am sure I will have made a full recovery by Tuesday :)

I went to the dentist yesterday and he gave me a rather deep filling on one of my molars.

I mentioned I was off to Glasto and half way through he said "this is quite deep, it could go either way, you won't have any more trouble or you'll be in screaming agony over the next few days and we might need to take it out! It's unfortunate your going away. Hopefully you'll know by Wednesday if it's gonna be OK" WTF! Why couldn't he tell me that at the beginning? Felt like punching him.

No pain last night or this morning though - so touch wood!

Is there a dentist on site should the worst happen?

I had flu about 3 weeks ago and I'm still suffering from a cough and the sniffles. I keep worrying about it coming back. I had a chest virus once when I was going to T In The Park. I felt shocking on the way there and the 1st night I thought I was dying but the day after I felt a lot better. I think the atmosphere of a festival can be as good a remedy as anything else!

I was out with friends on Weds night - few beers and all that...one of them who I was sitting next to all night has just been diagnosed with swine flu...he's not going Glasto, but it's slightly worrying in case it's been passed on and is harbouring in me...!

Oh dear! That's not good. Can you get tested or just ask for some tamiflu based on the fact you were in close contact with someone.

I have woken up this morning feel yuck! Head is sore, throat is sore, I felt dizzy, feel a bit sick. I'm hoping it will pass quickly, particuarly as I have such a busy time before Glastonbury so no time to rest. They also just closed a school near me due to swine flu...a bit of paranoia is creeping in!

I had a cold (you hear that ladies - a man saying cold....not flu!!!)

Two years back. I would much rather of had it before the fest but it never spoiled my time. Loads of Paracet's and drink andonly the mornings were bad.

My prefest para brain is kicking in however there are a billion things that can go wrong and 99% won't happen.

Breathe...................Breathe............................Breathe

I was hoping it was that! But then I looked at the bottle of wine and only had one glass and one vodka and orange between 5pm and 11.30 when I fell asleep on the sofa. I'm sure I'll be fine. No smoking for me or drinking tonight or tomorrow. I must preserve my health until Wednesday! :)

I'm going to birmingham today to watch some roller derby :-/ Hope I don't get swine flu!

I already feel a bit off colour - got swollen glands and a hint of aches coming on.. I'm taking loads of vitamin C to ward off the germs.. might have a very chilled weekend to try and beat it.

I played football last night and now have an incredibly sore left knee. i wouldn't mind but I've been playing for over a year now and never picked up an injury. Sod's law with the timing :)

One consolation though...at least i'm not defacating through the eye of a pointed knitting implement :)

    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.

    • I don't think I'm alone as a Scotland fan that there is no way that I could possibly fall asleep knowing we're about to play our first World Cup game in 28 years! Pure adrenaline is keeping me wide awake (and plenty of rum)!
    • Trying to stay awake for the footy so it’s just the easy option of a battery😊😉
