I hate the sheewee

I brought a Whizz last year and it was brilliant!!

I did make one mistake when drunk though... you do need to learn to regulate the amount of wee you let out at one time. Its similar to using a funnel, you have to let it drain before putting more liquid through!

They are great for when you need a wee at night too and you have a bottle to hand and don't want to get out of the tent and hike to the nearest toilet.. I had no problems using mine at all. Just make sure you chuck the bottle away after you've used it to save anyone else thinking it could be drinkable and taking a swig!!

without wanting to get too graphic, where is it leaking? top tip from the girls who run the actual shepee urinals is to make sure that you have your hips tilted forward (i.e. your bum is sticking out a little bit, so you're sort of leaning forward a bit)

if i'm using it in a turdis i'll normally end up with one hand up against the back wall, if that helps you imagine what i mean :P

I'm a bloke so don't have to use one obviously. But my gf does and there's a knack. When using it with jeans/knickers still on you have to put it towards the back, otherwise it gets messy It can still get messy if you're drinking a lot thou, try not to just let go, take your time.

I'll explain on the bus, think I read you were on the G3. Joking, I wont mention peemates on the bus, there's toilets on there thankfuly. :P

Well i used it once (not in a male urinal) and it worked well for 2 out 3 of us. The third one in our group failed with the sheepee!

When we then met my boyfriend and another guy in our group, we were quite proud of our experience. They looked a little bit scared of us and not so impressed!

I can pee perfectly well standing up in the shower etc but when it comes to using it with my clothes still on it just backfires everytime and leaks while im using it, anyone experience this? No point using it if I still have to take my bottom half of clothing down! :D

    • Rumours are it's called The Lost Tour. In the US in September. Ireland in November (so UK+Europe a good bet around November/early December).
    • Hey guys, is there a group going for any solo y not goers this year?? I couldn’t miss out once I saw the acts but it’s just me and would be great to meet some others:))
    • After deciding to abandon the festival, here's a few of my thoughts (mostly negative tbf).    On the positive side - was it just me or were there a few more urinals than last year? Seemed to help the queues at the loos a bit from what i saw. Plus they had at least had some foresight and had a few more covered areas in the VIP areas.    Now on the negatives.  The weather was admittedly pretty crap but it wasn't apocalyptic. How the actual f**k are bits of the main stage falling off in those conditions?  Then the communication was awful, there's a load of people who left the site because they were told by security guards/other personnel that there would be no more acts on the main stage this evening.  You have an app Primavera, use it! Yes, there's a shitload going on I'm sure but communication with the festivalgoers should be one of the top priorities. You failed.    And I'm not usually somebody who buys into the whole "oh this is hugely unsafe and it's lucky people weren't hurt" narrative, but all the above led to movements of people that were genuinely unsafe.  Evacuating Mordor entirely (again... Why???) and then having a horde of people trying to get in because they thought they were going to Massive Attack was insane.  And given a lot of people basically abandoned ship around 10.30pm the crush at both the exit to the festival and the entrance to the Metro was pretty dangerous.   Conditions happen, most people will get that....but the contingencies have to be better.
    • You'd think that something like bad weather was in the basics of festival planning. After the shitshow of Madrid, you'd think they'd learnt their lesson, apparently not...
    • Same. Shower and back out in a taxi!
