If Radiohead and Muse are headlining 2 of the 3 nights I will piss myself with excitement. To make it absolutely perfect for me I'd love to see Manic Street Preachers take the other slot but that'll never happen now. Stone Roses reunion anyone?!

while Lord Eavis of Worthy seems to have them in mind already for next year - tho at the same time doesn't seem sure that they're suitable as a headliner for Glastonbury - I don't think they'll do Glastonbury next year. After a year off they're likely to want to chase the cash to make up for what they haven't earnt in that year off I reckon, which would see them taking the big money for exclusive performances somewhere or other.

Think about it, its the 40th anniversary, they've already said they're going for a sort of "Best Of" lineup, so why would Maximo Park be second headliners :) especially when they're playing twice this year and are shit.

I'd say: Radiohead - Bowie - U2

With Arcade Fire under Bowie, I'm just hoping The Strokes make an appearance, preferably Other Stage headlining whatever day U2 headline :)

Dylans quite likely to be there I'd say, what with Eavis saying they need to get him back soon but would he headline any of the nights? Did he not play quite low down the bill in 98 or whenever it was

If this year has taught us anything, then expect it to be the last person one would expect. This time last year, how many of us would have though Young, Bruce and Blur would be headlining this year? Not many I'd hazard a guess.

One thing I will say though... if Orbital don't headline the Other Stage next year it'll be a big shock... They're doing a whole bunch of festivals this year, so I'd assume they're saving Glasto (somewhat of a spiritual home for them) for next years summer.

I do not think it will be Coldplay

They are taking a long break from touring when current one ends. I am not really a fan so not

bothered anyway.

Radiohead - not sure , they took the money for R & L , and that may have upset Glastonbury.

I will go with Muse though

Chillis I think perhaps need to do it at some point, unfortunatly Eavis think it's music for children or something along those lines does he not?

Am I correct in thinking that I read they offered to do it for free one year? I can't remember the reasons but they're so popular that I hope it happens one day.

The Cure

- Not sure maybe Pulp/Suede/libertines if they ever decide to reform

Radiohead/Muse (either/or)

- Elbow

Bowie

-Arcade fire

Not necessarily that order

Though personally i'd rather have crap artists at the pyramid, wouldn't want to be there all 3 nights, which would be necessity if that line up was to come to fruition

I'd be amazed if Radiohead weren't at Glastonbury next year but I don't think they'll be on the Pyramid. Sir Michael has said that they would have big bands on small stages and I think that Radiohead would be bang up for playing a smaller stage. Plus ME said ages ago that he had Radioheads manager on the phone discussing possibilites etc so thats it for me, my mind is made up.

As for other performers I really have no idea, I think The Flaming Lips will pop up, as will The Levellers and Bodger and Badger. I think the Pyramid headliners will be HUGE classic acts like Dylan and Bowie but not u2 coz they're shit.
