Driving license?

I was perusing the Glastonbury website and while looking at the what to pack list it states that we should take a Driving license. Have I missed something? Do we need to produce i.d. as well as our ticket on entry?

sorry if I am acting thick!!

If 'your lucky enough to look under 25' its easy id, especially if the bars will be id'ing more peeps this year. Also if someone on the gate disputes its you in the pic, which could happen - all the talk of getting in on other peoples tickets n all, you could show it, I guess you could take a bill or letter.

I could possibly use mine to remember my name and address if needed too! :D

I always carry mine around in my wallet anyway. I got ID'd at V last year, as did the guy next to me who went absolutely nuts at this person's sheer audacity to ask for ID. I don't see what the problem is. If you've got ID surely it's not that challenging to just show someone it?

Well knowing TOS's rubbish / lazy website updating, it probably harks back to when we needed photo ID to get into the festival, as addresses were on the tickets, but no photos.

And they probably just haven't removed it from the list...

i never take my ID with me anywhere, I don't drive, so only have a passport-and i dont fancy losing ut

if one bar decides i look too young, which would be surprising..then i just go to a diff bar, job done;)

taking id is risky , im prone to losing stuff
