Id suggest we insist on trainers/astro boots, and not allow walking boots, if there is a mix of the two, then that could cause more injury.

I cant decide whether to bring astro boots to play in especially or just in the old trainers Im bringing anyway...hmmm.

i would like to suggest walking boots not be aloud, I think they would be too dangerous to the other players, only trainers or astro boots please, last thing we need is an injury on the first day. Chazeboy I think you should make this a law, and as Ref will ensure it is enforced.

Although i am know for turning a blind eye for a bit of cider

:O especially after letting the NFL loose on the pitch first.

Poo :O I was going to leave my walking boots on as I don't think I'll get chance to play for more than a token 5 minutes.

But yeah I'll go along with that.Trainers (including converse) and astro boots.

Strictly no football boots.

or crocs.

and definitely no flip flops or them Scholl things women used to wear in the early 80's!

Blimey, this is turning into a street party! Who's bringing the bunting and cup cakes?? :D

Seriously, I'm really looking forward to this. Will be a great ice breaker to meet a few new folk, rather than standing awkwardly at the Bus on Thursday scared to venture into a conversation :D

Peace x

    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
    • Lifelong Carlisle United supporter here.🤦‍♂️ Good luck for the coming Season and see you in October!
    • Any other lower league/non-league supporters on here? It’s all change at my team, Aldershot Town. We’ve released 25 players and the new manager has brought in 21 or 22 completely new players. Going to be an interesting gamble.   There’s a little video here on the reasons why:
