Ok, first of all..i know that there are probably other topics on this...but i just fancied making one

So - who are the special guests looking like they are gonna be? I've heard from the Libs to Klaxons, Kravitz to Radiohead!?!?

And also, when will we find out who the special guests are?

This is not the greatest thing that Emily has ever done, a health and safety damaging band ''announced'' causing vast amount of bands to be rumoured. This will lead to a worse situation than the Madness problem as fans of a variety of different bands will all turn up. many of whom will be dissapointed.

No-one really knows, but as a guess, i'd say they didn't want to be known as the 'Glastonbury House Band' and they are headlining Reading Festival.

nah,the one emily is on about she said wont be announced,it will just happen totally unnanounced.

the only band that can drag me away from marching to see kasabian is the libertines, and im doubtful it will happen, there were all rumours in papers for them to do it last year, they have played as more as a complete band and played a few more times together this year, but carl says theres nothing planned and he wants to do his solo stuff first, but is up for it next year.

Muse, placebo, radiohead seem to mostly be rumoured for it,which would be good, but i prefer kasabian on the pyramid rather than 2 hours of shlomo then muse on a small stage.

but hoping klaxons do friday day earliest special guest slot at the park. was hoping for a coxon and or bragg special guest slot at some point,so im keepin my ears on the radio and eyes on the daily news!.

Surely if Emily is going to put on a special guest that she anounced is really top surpise and would cause health and safety problems then she would put them on when people dont expect them to be on so saturday late on would be the worst slot to put them on.

i know if i had a top surprise that if announced would cause health and safety issues i would put them on first thing on the friday when their not exptected to be on and not many people will be there just for the special guests and people who did hear about it might miss it by the time they get down the park area to see the band.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
