Being the youngest my brother and sister have done A LOT for me growing up, lending me money etc... If I was in this position I would give them the tickets without even thinking about it, and they being the lovely people that they are would offer me money for them. *vomit*

Perhaps your sister will offer you money anyway and as you are skint, don't feel bad taking some of it. Selling them then buying them just sounds very long winded. Sell them to your sister half price.

I managed to get tickets while they have been 'sold out'. I forgot had totally forgot about the competition. I have no intention of trying to make a load of cash of these, like i said IF I did sell them it would be for face alue plus a bit of cash to spend at the festival. Dont see whats wrong with that, its prize for gods sake!

Apologies, I misread the part about when you entered the competition and stand humbly corrected.

In fact, looking at this a completely different way, I can see your intentions are actually good. It's a pity the competition didn't end sooner. While there's a slight chance you'll be able to get more tickets before the festival, the likelihood lessens all the time. If you factor in the time it will take to sell them and get the money you're looking for, the chances will be even slimmer, I'd imagine. The only guarantee you have of getting tickets for your sis and bro-in-law are the ones you have won.

I'm guessing this is actually more about sharing the wealth, by not asking them to pay you for the tickets, while still getting something out of it for you, right? Again, sorry for misjudging. Good luck whatever you do.

I doubt it coz she ain't working. She's gone back to uni to re train so they are living off his job for the time being (mortgage to pay etc). They will only just about be able to go even with a free ticket! We where all gutted that they where not coming so it feels good knowing they are. Last year was superb.

I wouldn't have felt bad about selling the tickets (as long as they could both still come).

I thought the chances where that if someone had daft money (I wouldn't have let it get to that but bare with me) to spend on a last minute ticket, they could probably afford it. There is a lot of spoilt little middle class kids that go to Glasto.

Anyway I'm chuffed with the way its turned out. Everyone is really happy

Its sorted now anyway. I'm giving them to My sister. I just rang her and she's confirmed she can get the time off work and so can he. She was so excited she was screaming down the phone and stuff lol.

I'd have sold them for £1000 each on Ebay and hired a posh motorhome for the week for me and my mates, now thats good karma!

I won tickets from Heineken in 2007 and gave them to my sister and boyfriend as we'd already got ours, they gave me £50 to say thanks and to buy some new stuff as me and my girlfriend where moving into together.

I'd say give them away its just a bit of a lucky windfall.
