Could someone recommend me a Nick Cave album to help me to decide if I should go and see him.

YUP.... its exactly what's needed, which I said way back in Feb. CLASHES ARE GOOD Prodigy vs Blink is what all festivals should be aiming for... If you're not having to choose between two acts at least half the day the line up is mid at best. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't, having to make the choise is better than one of the acts not being there at all.... I was wrong about them closing the Chevron early though. Looks like theyre doing it on the Fred night, which is prob fair enough if its really not suited to bands

Such an awful situation and sorry for you and your family having to go through it. Personally being there at the very end doesn't mean as much to me as it seems to for others but as I have close relationship with my Dad and Sister then i would want to be there to support them and grieve together but obviously everyone's circumstances are different. One year of the best festival in the world is only one year and despite it being an obsession for most of us here having a year off won't be remembered in years to come but life regrets are a bitch going forward.

Really sorry that you and your family are going through this. My Dad was ill all of last year and I was constantly worried about if I would be able to get back to him in time (when things deteriorated more). You are already having to deal with the future loss of your mum and that isn’t fair, losing your time at Glastonbury isn’t fair either, this situation just sucks. Feeling guilty is unfortunately a common aspect of mourning, so I would use this time to ensure that you have no regrets and nothing you can make yourself feel guilty about later. My Dad died in December, one comfort I have had, was me and my family were with him when he died. When the feelings of guilt came along, I was able to kick them into touch and think ‘sod off guilt, I did my best’. Best wishes to you and your family during this really horrible time.

Thats the worst one for me thus far. Can't miss The Oozes, Kid Bruswick sounds v interesting in a BMTH with a modern twist way. Can't find anything Disgusting Sisters have ever done on any site, so assume they're an industry plant type but a must see on that name alone though
