They are one of those bands that I absolutely cant stand but suppode they have a decent fanbase so will make a lot of others happy. Probably early main stage i guess.

I've seen them live twice, once supporting Coheed and they were really good and last year at Download and they were god awful, I probably will see them though.

The worst thing was when they covered March Of The Pigs at Download, they are usually less annoying than most other similar pop bands , but that really annoyed me as it made an awesome song sound terrible

I saw them on the Kerrang tour about a year or so back and thought they were pretty good... Didn't know any of their songs but they seemed to put on a good show, I'll probably check them out if they don't clash with anyone I specifically want to see, won't go out of my way though.

No I just knew because Madina Lake belongs to a certain genre of bands that people generally seem to hate for some reason. I however am a big fan of that genre and it really p*sses me off having it constantly ciriticised when its no better or worse than any other

Something that's been bothering me this year that I couldn't quite place. Now I think I've found it. Short of Placebo, Deftones, YYYs, Prodigy, and arguably FFAF and Brand New, none of the acts on the mainstage (excluding headliners) are really established festival mainstays. What I mean by this is that there's a gaping hole on the line-up where the likes of Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, NOFX, Bowling for Soup, New Found Glory, Sum 41 etc would have slotted in for a much needed sunny afternoon singalong. With Alexisonfire and now Madina Lake looking to occupy slots on the main stage it's making one of the aforementioned festival necessities look very unlikely which is a shame as there seem to be an abundance of bands that take themselves way too seriously and very few, (possibly just EODM) who are up for more of a laugh

Not sure if that made sense, I've been working since 9 on about 2 hours sleep so chances are I've waffled a bit!
