The Enemy

I actually think the album is a pretty solid second outing. As previously mentioned, using other bands ideas/material is not a new thing, you'd struggle to find many bands these days who are totally original. It is just clearly evident in a few songs like the ones shown above where the Enemy's musical influences come from! if you want to compare every song on every album of every band, i'm sure people can find similariites to other bands, "last goodbye" sounds like a mix of cast's "walkaway" and blur's "The universal" but hey....I still like it!

"Elephant song", "Be somebody" and particularly "Sing when your in love" are the albums highlights for me.

Now that i have decided between Snow patrol and The enemy, I cannot wait to see Tom and the boys nail the C4 stage!

its one band i try and avoid at all costs, its that blokey getting drunk and chucking beer mentality that remind me of oasis. Is the same with kasabian, I avoid them at all costs aswel.

but to fair I havnt given enemey and kasabian a chance to change my view.
