Yes its not Sabbath - but it pretty much is, and Iommi was an intergral part to sabbath - as is he to H&H - and H&H did tour under Black Sabbath originally as has been said, so really they are near enough the same, obviously without Ozzy, but lets be honest Ozzy couldnt pull it off these days, and Dio is fantastic.

H&H are f**king nobodies, end of.

any of the rumoured bands would have been better - offspring, blink, mcr.

H&H have a very limited appeal, they couldnt even sell out the last tour they did, so dont give me the "Lord Tony Of Iommi" shite. Michael Schenker was a f**king legendary axman in his day, he plays acoustic basement sets to <100 people these days.

i dont like MCR, but I know they would have shifted infinitely more tickets than H&H are going to.

EPIC FAIL

I like how you mentioned the offspring there. and a while back you said H&H arent popular because they only reached no.21 in the charts with their new album.

NEWSFLASH, The Offsprings most recent album did even worse - and only got to No. 39.

I can understand them not being able to play any Ozzy era songs due to Sharon (kill it with fire!) throwing some sort of wobbly, but what about chucking in "Holy Diver" for us?! I'm fairly sure Sharon (burn bitch!) Doesn't own that!

Offspring are a huge festival band. Heaven and Hell aren't.

Offsprings previous placings show why they would have been a better booking (2nd on the bill at reading and headlined download)

Er, they've been back together two years and spent last summer recording the new album. I'm not doubting that Offspring are, by some sad and unjust turn of events, a bigger band in the UK than Heaven and Hell, but pointing to a poorly received headliner set at what as come to be known as the worst lineup in Download's history isn't a very good argument.

To be fair, Offspring were widely regarded as one of the worst choices for a Download headliner in history and also put in a f**king TERRIBLE performance. I can't see them playing very high slots any time soon.

Are you serious?!

You're the only person I've heard who feels they were shit! They put on a great show, sure there were no lasers or explosions or any of that shit, but they played all their top songs, and were every bit as deserving a headliner as Blink would have been in 2005, or LP and MCR (possibly more so than the latter two)

I'm just hoping for a tour some time later this year, though they'd be hard pressed to beat the set from Download.

You've got to be kidding. Put on a great show?! If three fat blokes dressed like 12 year olds with no stage presence, no lights, no pyro and with absolutely no indication that they want to be there is an indication of 'putting on a great show' then it was the greatest show ever. They walzted on, played, had a few moments of diabollically embarrasing crowd-banter and then promptly f**ked off.

How you can watch that and call it a great show is beyond me, it was the exact antithesis of what a great show should be, and funnily enough I've heard very few people myself that rated them at all, the Download forums were full of people dissing them.

So you need explosions and some fancy lights to put on a good show?!... Are you a fan of the films of Michael Bay per chance?!:lol:

Clearly quality is lost on you and the knuckledraggers that populate the DL forums (seriously, not a good source of opinions)

    • The Great Fete Festival (Sunday Only) Ocean Colour Scene day on Tickets For Good.
    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
    • Most likely not, keeping an eye on Tixel and Twickets might be the best option.
