I'd like to make a suggestion.

If you want to start a thread asking if a band might be playing, can you call it something like this...

"Finlay Quaye, any chance he might play?"

If you know a band is going to play then something like this would be good....

"XXXX, confirmed on their myspace"

Sorry to moan, but I can't be the only person who keeps getting their hopes up every time they see a thread about an artist they like and then finding out it's just a question, can I?

I agree, but for a different reason, everytime I see a band name, it's pretty much 'Oh no, not this reformed bunch of second division no hopers who weren't even that good the first time round, 15 years ago' and my heart sinks ever lower.

c.f shed seven, the bluetones, finley quaye etc
