"The band will headline the Leeds Festival on Friday 28th and Reading Festival on Saturday 29th August." - from their official site. The gig listings confirms this too.

Could this year see a switch in how the days shift - i.e. from right-to-left as opposed to the other way around in previous years?

This to me looks like they're trying to accommodate Radiohead as they're in America until the Thursday night, meaning they wouldn't land back in the country until the Friday afternoon at the earliest.

Nothing on Radiohead's tour date page on their official site about them being in the US prior to Reading/Leeds

Radiohead don't have anything confirmed for August at the moment but the rumour was, if anything, they might be doing some more UK shows around that time. There's nothing to suggest they'll be in America any more than anywhere else.

Also wouldn't the old rotation make more sense anyway? Reading Saturday / Leeds Sunday would mean they'd be closer to their Saturday venue on arrival on the UK? Is there a reason why they have to do the Sunday at Reading?
